FISH CURRY
INGREDIENTS;
- Fish -500 gm
- Tamarind-200 gm
- Gingelly oil -250 ml
- Chilly powder -3 table spoon
- Coriander powder -3 table spoon
- Turmeric powder -3 table spoon
- Coconut - small piec
- Small onion -10 pieces
- Cumin seeds-1 teaspoon
- Garlic -2Pieces
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 table spoon
- Curry leaves -1 sprig
- Onoin -1
- Tomato -1
- Fennel - 1 tea spoon
- Cumin seeds -1 tea spoon
- Fenugreek -1 tea spoon
- Salt -required amount
PROCEDURE;
- Soak the tamarind into water for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes filter it.
- Take coconut,small onion,garlic,cumin seed,roast it and grind it as paste.
- Take the frying pan (kadaai).
- Pour 250 ml of gingelly oil into frying pan (kadaai).
- Add 1/2 spoon of mustard seeds,1 sprig of curry leaves,onion -1,tomato -1,1/2 spoon of fennel,1/2 spoon of fenu greek,1/2 spoon of cumin seeds with oil.
- Pour filtered tamarind water in frying pan (kadaai).
- Add 1spoon of turmeric powder,3 spoon of chilly powder,3 spoon of coriander powder,add required amount of salt.
- Mix the finely grinded paste (coconut,small onion,garlic,cumin seeds) into the frying pan (kadaai).
- Boil the above mentioned things for 15 minutes.
- Now add 500 gm of fish.
- Boil it for 5 minutes.
- Tasty fish curry is ready.
