mutton broth

MUTTON BROTH(CURRY)

INGREDIENTS;
  • Mutton -1/4 kg
  • Coconut -2 pieces
  • Onion -2 
  • Tomato -2
  • Ginger -small piece
  • Garlic -4 pieces
  • Gingelly oil -250 ml
  • Chilly powder -4 table spoon
  • Coriander powder -3 table spoon
  • Turmeric powder -1/2 table spoon
  • Salt -required amount
  • Coriander leaves -small amount
  • Pudina leaves -small amount
  • Curry Leaves-2 sprig
  • Spices(star anice,cinnamon,bay leaf,cloves,cardomom)
PROCEDURE;
  1. Take the frying pan (kadaai).
  2. Pour the 200 ml of gingelly oil.
  3. Along with that also fry the spices (star anice,bay leaf,cinnamon,clove,cardamom ).
  4. Add mustard seeds,curry leaves ,onion-1,tomato-1,2 pinch of salt also,add some coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  5. Add 4 spoon chilly powder,1/4  spoon of turmeric powder,3 spoon of coriander powder and fry it.
  6. Now mix with the mutton with the above mentioned stuffs (previous step-5).
  7. Grind it as fine paste (coconut,onion-1,ginger,tomato-1,garlic,fennel seeds).
  8. Drop all these things into the cooker.
  9. Pour 9 glasses of water.
  10. Cover it by cooker lid.
  11. Wait for 8 whistles from the cooker (it takes approx 25 minutes).
  12. Turn on the stove off.
  13. Mutton broth is ready.
